- Summarize the story of Job Job was a very wealthy man, blessed with 7 sons and 3 daughters and a lovely wife. Job had a VERY strong relationship with God but Satan tested his faith by killing his livestock, servants and children. But still Job stayed true to his beliefs. Satan then grew blistering sores on jobs body and Job isolated himself from the city, he then began to question God's motives or why God was doing this to him. God then told Job how powerful he was and was happy Job stayed true to his beliefs, he then rewarded him with twice the live stock and riches he had before.
2. What makes a “good” person?
A “good person” would be someone who puts others before himself or herself, stays true to their beliefs, trusts in, and loves God always, loves others, respects others as well as respects and loves himself or herself.
3. Describe someone you know who is good.
the only person i can think of that is a good person all the time would be Jesus.

well we all have a sinful nature because of course, we have all sinned.

Everything! God knows everything about everyone! that’s how powerful he is!

No. I think that’s a humanly thing to do and i think God would obviously be smarter than to do that.
8. Would God play with someone’s life?
I don’t think we would “play” with someone's life. I do think he would work in someones life to make them the best the can be.
9. Why do you think this story is in the Bible?
It teaches Christians or anybody that if you trust in God and stick with him the whole way through the hard times, He will reward you and you will become closer to him.
10. What does the story teach us about God?
That even when you think he has abandoned you he is already working on an amazing plan for your life.
11. Why are Job’s friends visiting him?
Jobs friends are trying to comfort him.
12. What do they recommend that Job should do?
They want him to just give up and curse God and die.

I don’t think anyone would want friends who kinda blame you for all the terrible things that have happened.
15. Describe the perfect friend.
They would be someone who is always there for you in your time of trouble, is trustworthy, respects you, loves you, loves God and tries their best to be a Jesus reflecting person, someone who doesn't sin.
16. Do you have a friend like that?
sort of, actually i have 2! they obviously aren't perfect all the time but they always make an effort to be the best they can! Jesus would be the only PERFECT friend in anyones life.
17. Are you a friend like that?
I try to be the best friend i can towards others,and i’m obviously not perfect but i do make an effort to be a great friend.
18.After reading about Job’s friends, what did you learn about advice?
I learned that there will always be Good advice and bad advice, we just need to learn the difference.

Yes! but we need to be careful about what we open our ears to

He told them they were wrong, he told them that he did nothing that bad to deserve the pain he was going through and that he was still a just man.

Sort of, he didn't for the longest time but he eventually began to question God.

Yes, if i knew i didn't do anything wrong to deserve that then yes, i would defend myself.

he reminds Job how powerful God is, and that he should trust him through everything.

he felt embarrassed and sorry that he ever questioned God.

I would be in shock that God is right in front of me! but then i would probably beg for Gods forgiveness because i would know that i was stupid to question him.

My family prays together a lot so i guess the last time we prayed.

I usually thank God for the day and ask for forgiveness on any sins i committed that day.

You need to build your relationship with God weather it's reading the bible, praying, or simply talking to God in your everyday life.

I would listen, just because i have never heard God speak to me before and i picture it as a life changing experience.
